The Duck & Herring Co.’s
Pocket Field Guide for Fall 2005,
a seasonal publication that contains literature, nonfiction, recipes to light your tongue, a language lesson, a fall to-do list, stories about ghosts, a story about wearing an owl costume, and other things that are designed to help the reader through the bountiful season of cool weather and moon-splashed times.
p.s.: the language lesson is the second in a series. They are a kind of polylingual love letter to montreal written by yours truly. so a little shameless self-promotion there but seriously, the pocket field guides are sweet and great and this alabama party, only weeks after Elvis Death Day, will be fun.
